The Other Mozart, March 23
The play, The Other Mozart, put on by the Texas Tech University Presidential Lecture & Performance Series, tells the story of Amadeus Mozart’s sister, Nannerl, who made her own genius contributions to music but who has been less recognized — until now. Bring the family and celebrate music and creative women at Allen Theatre at Texas Tech.
Midsummer Night’s Dream, April 6-8
Have you ever been to a ballet? How about a Shakespearean performance? Now is your chance to enjoy both in one exciting event put on by Ballet Lubbock at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. With choreography by Yvonne Racz Key, music by Felix Mendelson, and story by William Shakespeare, this performance will be an experience to remember.
