Local Audubon Society
Bird watchers should consider visiting the Tyler Audubon Society, whose mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems. With a variety of free programs, birding trips, and other events, you’re bound to stay busy while cultivating your passion for feathered friends. Consider attending the monthly meeting at the Pollard United Methodist Church: Feb. 12, March 12, and April 9 (at 6:30 p.m.).
First Friday Art Trail – Feb. 1
Check out this monthly event that celebrates the arts in downtown Lubbock. Starting on Feb. 1 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., the free event includes a free Citibus toll, which covers all the stops on the route.
Lubbock Symphony – Feb. 5
Music enthusiasts will enjoy the Winter Chamber Concert on Feb. 5 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at LHUCA. The Lubbock Symphony will perform Arthur Foote’s Piano Quartet in C Major (Op. 23), D.J. Sparr’s Piano Trio “Lost in the Old South Tower,” and Brahms’s Piano Quartet No. 3 in C minor (Op. 60).
The Price is Right Live – March 14
Purchase tickets to see the Price is Right live on March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oil Palace in Tyler, Texas. Hosted by comedian Drew Carey, The Price is Right features contestants who compete with each other to win big prizes by guessing the cost of consumer products and spinning the big wheel.
The Beach Boys – March 26
See the Beach Boys perform on March 26 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oil Palace. If “Barbara Ann,” “Good Vibrations,” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” are some of your favorite songs, this is one concert that you won’t want to miss.
